Once upon a time ago, two people who liked to make music met on the internets. One a talented and skilled musician living in Boston. The other from Texas, not so skilled and maybe she had some talent. In September of 2005, they started making the aiff and mp3 files fly. Thirteen tracks later, they became The Fritters. The result is a rare blend of soul-satisfying traditional folk, rock, and country with americana stylings and great lyrics. Jim produces all the music and mastered the final version. Kelli writes, sings, and plays the guitar. They record using Apple’s Garageband software. Enjoy a taste of their self-titled, independent debut, The Fritters.

Jim resides in Boston, Massachusetts. He’s a multi-talented instrumentalist, singer and songwriter. He was a part of beantown's Union Label band. The most important role he plays is husband to wife, Andrea, and father to Gray and Maurice Bouchard. His brothers are Albert and Joe Bouchard, founding members of the Blue Oyster Cult. His debut, Toots Rambles, is also available at cd baby.

Kelli is from San Antonio, Texas and now lives in New York City.. She’s a firebrand of the highest order. She’s been writing songs since she was knee-high to a grasshopper. Kelli plays wife to husband, Stephen Cody. Together, they have three quadrupeds, two of the doggy persuasion. This is her first venture into music.

You're listening to Rocks Up a Hill.
